Street and Infrastructure Improvements

LA CRESCENT, MINNESOTA

WHKS provided survey, design, and construction phase services for the reconstruction of various streets throughout La Crescent.

The roadway improvements included pavement reconstruction, sidewalks, parking, bike lane configurations, ADA pedestrian ramps, concrete curb and gutter, and storm sewer installation on the following segments:

  • Jonathan Lane from South of Elm Street to Elm Street
  • North 4th Street from Elm Street to North of Crescent Hills Drive
  • North 3rd Street from Hill Street to Elm Street
  • Park Street from North 4th Street to North of 4th Street
  • Stoney Point Road from West of North Hill Street to West of Hill Street
  • Maple Street from South 1st Street to Main Street
  • South 3rd Street from Hill Street to West of South Hill Street
  • Skunk Hollow Road from South 14th Street to County Road 25
  • Larch Avenue from CR 6 to South 4th Street
  • Beacon Valley Road from McIntosh Road to Haralson Lane

The South 3rd Street section, between Elm and Maple Streets, was a full reconstruction including water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utilities.

The project was designed to Minnesota Department of Transportation State Aid Standards.
