Recreational Complex

BYRON, MINNESOTA

WHKS designed a 27-acre ball park that included four regulation-sized baseball and softball fields. The fields host an array of teams from beginners to adult leagues.

The complex includes irrigation, a football area, concession building, and a large parking area. The fields have covered dugouts, 300-foot fences, field lighting, and Shakopee red rock infields. A concession building was constructed in between all the fields. A bike path connects the park to other sidewalks or paths in the area.

The project was constructed over three years due to very wet conditions on the site. A small number of wetlands were mitigated for the construction of the fields.
