DUBUQUE, IOWA
WHKS provided Phase 2 major highway design and bridge final design services for a portion of a 6.1-mile four-lane divided freeway on a new alignment between US Highway 61/151 and US Highway 20.
On separate but related projects, WHKS provided construction-related services for bridges and roadways that were constructed to Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) Standards.
WHKS services on these projects included:
- Full-time construction inspection
- Construction administration
- Documentation of materials and quantities
- Recordkeeping
- Iowa DOT Project Audit
- Concrete testing
- Coordination with Iowa DOT and City of Dubuque
Additionally, WHKS provided construction survey to contractors for segments of the project.
