Licensed Professional Land Surveyor – Rochester, Minnesota
WHKS has an opportunity for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to use their knowledge and skills on survey projects in Minnesota and surrounding states. The successful candidate will be technically proficient, personable, and value a collaborative work environment focused on creating solutions for our clients and communities. Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate with a team of technicians on survey related tasks
- Maintain awareness of industry practices, guidelines, and standards specific to the fieldof boundary survey
- Effectively communicate with clients to develop strong relationships, review project needs, and secure contracts
- Performance of topographic, boundary, ALTA/ACSM, and construction surveys
- Performance of survey computations
- Operation of survey equipment utilizing GPS, Total Station, and leveling instruments
Qualifications:
- Minnesota P.L.S. or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 5+ years of field survey and GPS experience
- A valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous client management/ business development a plus
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite a plus
- Proficiency with Trimble Equipment and Software
